About the role
We are looking for a Sales Manager to grow PrimeGuest’s business with hotels across India. You will own the pipeline from first conversation to signed contract, run demos that show hoteliers how our PMS, channel manager, booking engine, revenue AI and guest app work together, and close deals with mid-size properties and hotel chains.
This is a high-ownership role at a growing startup. Alongside your own targets, you will coach our BDRs and field sales reps, help shape how we sell, and give product a clear picture of what hoteliers are asking for. If you enjoy consultative selling, like building a team, and want your results to be visible from the first month, this role is for you.
What you’ll do
Pipeline and revenue
- Own monthly and quarterly revenue targets for your region or segment
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline from inbound leads, BDR-booked meetings, field referrals and your own network
- Forecast accurately and keep leadership updated on deal progress and risks
Demos and closing
- Run discovery calls and tailored product demos for hotel owners, general managers and group decision-makers
- Prepare proposals, handle pricing conversations and negotiate contracts
- Close mid-size and chain deals, often with several stakeholders involved
- Hand over smoothly to our onboarding and deployment teams so customers start well
Team leadership
- Mentor and coach BDRs and field sales representatives through call reviews, joint visits and regular one-to-ones
- Help set up sales playbooks, pitch decks and objection-handling guides
- Support hiring and onboarding of new members of the sales team
CRM and market insight
- Keep the CRM clean and up to date, and make sure the team does the same
- Track competitors, pricing and market trends in hotel tech
- Share customer feedback and feature requests with product and marketing
What we’re looking for
- 2–4 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with a track record of meeting or beating targets
- A bachelor’s degree; an MBA is a plus
- Experience running the full sales cycle, from discovery and demo to negotiation and close
- Confident, persuasive communication in English and Hindi, in person, on calls and in writing
- Comfort with a CRM such as HubSpot, Zoho or Salesforce, and with Google Sheets or Excel
- Willingness to travel to meet hotel clients when needed
Good to have
- Experience selling into hotels or travel tech, such as PMS, channel managers, booking engines or OTAs (a strong advantage)
- An existing network among hotel owners, general managers or hotel groups in India
- Experience coaching or leading a small sales team
- Understanding of hotel concepts like occupancy, ADR, RevPAR and OTA commissions
- Any regional language in addition to English and Hindi
Who you are
- Target-driven: you like having a number and you enjoy beating it
- Consultative: you listen first and sell solutions to real problems, not features
- A coach: you enjoy helping newer teammates get better and win their own deals
- Organised: your pipeline and CRM are always in order
- Resilient: a lost deal teaches you something and you move on to the next one
Why join PrimeGuest
- Attractive performance incentives on top of your fixed salary
- A fast-track path to senior sales leadership as the team grows
- A product hoteliers genuinely want, with real AI built into it
- Real ownership of your region, your team and your results
- A collaborative, supportive team that values initiative
